As a Field Marketing Coordinator, you are strategic in working with our Team Leaders (franchisees) in establishing local marketing opportunities to drive in new clients and build store sales.  Your local marketing expertise and continued communication with our Team Leaders will help drive the growth and success of each store.  You will work directly with our marketing team to create a unique and strategic local marketing plan for stores, as well as tracking to provide metrics, which are critical to store growth, and continued success. You will also assist with the social media efforts for the individual store accounts, and coaching the teams on the importance of a continual social media presence. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Research a store’s geographical trade area and develop a local marketing strategy that supports new Client acquisition.
  • Work closely with the Team Leaders (Franchisees) to integrate the proposed local marketing strategy for their store(s) with the grand opening marketing plan based on your research, experience, and their feedback.
  • Responsible for initial business to business marketing introductions in the community, and identifying strategic cross marketing opportunities that are mutually beneficial and successfully drive in new Clients and build the brand.
  • Spend time training and demonstrating local marketing best practices with the local store(s) teams so that local store marketing continuously occurs.
  • Work closely with the Field Marketing Manager and the Company Marketing Specialists to review and provide follow up support for local marketing activation based on the actual market visit. Create detailed local marketing reports. Document results. 
  • Organize and coordinate marketing pep rallies at the stores, by educating and demonstrating local marketing tactics. 
  • Reporting:  Prepare weekly tracking reports using standard forms and format, to document weekly activity specific to each store and provide those reports to Team Leaders for review and follow up activation; Weekly internal update on previous, current and future marketing visits.
  • Develop turn-key marketing toolkits that provide creative local store marketing solutions for engaging retail, b2b and community entities/associations.  
  • Support national campaigns (i.e., MVP Moment, Instant Replay and Help A Hero) with coordinated activity in the stores. Ensure all stores utilize Point of Purchase Materials and campaign playbook guides to maximize store participation.
  • Coach the team on the importance of continual social media activity, including posting on Facebook, Google My Business, and Instagram.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required. 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent business experience
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in field marketing, trade show and/or event marketing 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions
  • Knowledge of the sales and marketing functions 
  • Team oriented and a strong work ethic
Physical Demands: Position requires occasional or frequent moderate activity such as remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, occasional lifting and bending.

Travel: This position requires extensive travel.  Up to 75%
